CleanBC Go Electric EV Charger Rebate

Up to $350
rebate

The CleanBC program offers a rebate of up to $350 for BC residents installing a Level 2 EV charger at home. Available to BC Hydro and FortisBC customers. The rebate is applied directly through your utility.

Eligibility Requirements
  • BC resident with a BC Hydro or FortisBC account
  • New Level 2 EV charger installation at your primary residence
  • Charger must be installed by a qualified electrician
  • Must be a qualifying ENERGY STAR® certified charger

BC Hydro EV Home Charging Rebate

Up to $350

BC Hydro customers can receive a rebate of up to $350 on the purchase and installation of a qualifying Level 2 EV charger. The rebate covers the cost of the charger and eligible installation costs.

Eligibility Requirements
  • Active BC Hydro residential customer
  • Own or lease a plug-in electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle
  • New Level 2 charger (240V) installed at your BC Hydro-served home
  • Charger must be on the qualifying products list

FortisBC EV Charger Rebate

Up to $350

FortisBC offers a rebate of up to $350 for customers in FortisBC service areas (Kelowna, Kamloops, Prince George, and surrounding areas) who install a qualifying Level 2 EV charger at home.

Eligibility Requirements
  • Active FortisBC residential customer
  • Own or lease a plug-in electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle
  • New Level 2 charger installed at your primary residence
  • Charger purchased and installed after rebate application

Federal EV Affordability Program (EVAP)

Up to $5,000
rebate

The federal EVAP provides a point-of-sale incentive of up to $5,000 on the purchase or lease of an eligible new zero-emission vehicle. Applied automatically at the dealership — no separate application required.

Eligibility Requirements
  • Purchase or 12+ month lease of an eligible new ZEV
  • Battery-electric, hydrogen fuel cell, or longer-range plug-in hybrid
  • MSRP under $55,000 (or $60,000 for certain configurations)
  • For personal use — not commercial fleet vehicles
